Laguna Docent Training Class Now Forming | |

| Description | Expand and share your knowledge and love of nature—train to become Laguna de Santa Rosa docent in 2010.
Volunteers learn about the plants, animals and cultural history of the Laguna and how to teach dynamic, hands-on environmental education activities for 2nd - 4th grade students. Then, teams of docents lead engaging classroom visits and field trips to Laguna Preserves. The 10-week training starts in March and runs through May. Classes are held on consecutive Mondays from 9:30-2:30. This is the one of two repeated Info sessions for potential participants. The other is on: Monday, March 1, 2010 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Central Santa Rosa Library. |
